SPEAKER/PRESENTER
Dr. Ian Turnbull completed his Ph.D. in geophysical sciences at the University of Chicago in 2008. He taught courses on Earth science, weather, and climatology at DePaul University and the University of Illinois in Chicago, USA in 2009. From 2011-2013, he worked at Canatec Associates International Ltd. in Calgary, AB as an ice dynamics specialist, and has been working at C-CORE in St. John’s, NL since 2013, as an ice researcher.
