Free Surface Effect on a Van Carrying Water.

By Carlisle Ross posted 05-23-2011 06:13 AM

The "BBC" asked me to design a van that will describe the free surface effects of water in a tank, inside the van; while the van was negotiating a tight bend. I designed the van, and the "BBC" asked me to take part in a film on this topic at Hereford in the UK on 5th February, 2010. They paid my expenses, but did not give me a fee for my efforts and they forced me to keep the project secret; I did keep the project secret, until now.. Moreover, I was not expecting a fee. When the programme was transmitted, the "BBC" decided to edit me out. Moreover, they decided not to acknowledge me, and I thought that this was very cruel of them & unprofessional; because had I not carried out the design of the van, they would not have been able to produce that scene. It would not have hurt them to acknowledge my efforts on this project! This video is my version of the event.  CLICK:
