Over the last few weeks, Mark Eichler and myself have been discussing ways to improve the Microsite functionality, and level of communication. If you hadn't noticed the changes on the
Student Steering Committe page, they are big! With an improved Navigation, the new microsite structure is more user friendly, and easier to navigate. Additionally, blog functions have been enhanced so that all sections can use this feature to provide up-to-date press releases and announcements to all student members, appearing directly on their microsite home page (just like a news feed). All blog posts are archived and saved in the secure SNAME server structure, meaning in an easy way, you and your members can always keep track of the latest news, while documenting a continual history of your section activity.
