SNAME AWARDS PROGRAM
SNAME recognizes outstanding contributions to the maritime industry in the form of cutting-edge papers, industry leadership accomplishments, and dedicated service to SNAME and the maritime community via its peer-driven Awards Program. The SNAME Awards Program is made up of a variety of awards and provides a framework for recognizing individuals and/or groups of people that author top-quality scientific publications and enhance their profession and the Society. The SNAME Awards Program honors members and non-members, including professionals and students.
The SNAME Awards Program is administered by SNAME committees that make their recommendations to the Awards Committee, who then reports to the SNAME Council. SNAME awards are presented annually at the annual SNAME Maritime Convention and/or the Offshore Technology Conference.
