    EVENT DESCRIPTION: The SNAME Canadian Pacific section is please to host Dr. Patrick Kirchen for his presentation low(er) carbon fuels. In this presentation we will explore the near-term implementation of lower carbon intensity fuels for marine applications, with a focus on natural gas, biofuels, and renewable diesel. In particular, the impact of fuel, engine technology, and vessel operation on greenhouse gas emissions and air quality pollutants are considered through real-world measurements, actual duty cycles, and operational changes...
