To All SNAME Canadian Pacific Section Members,
Mari-Tech 2026 Conference and Exhibition is coming back to the West Coast next year from May 12-14, 2026 held in Victoria BC. The conference is now accepting technical presentation abstracts. This is a great opportunity to share your expertise, research, and insights with the global marine engineering community.
The theme for the conference is “SKILLED SEAS” and cover the areas of:
- Strategies to improve Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) and In-Service Support (ISS) operations
- Developing and retaining marine worker capacity and competency
- Vessel and equipment innovation
Format:
- Most Mari-Tech 2026 technical presentations will follow 45 minutes (35-minute presentation, 10-minute Q&A) format
- As an enabler for discussion and leveraging our 2024 and 2025 experiences, some presentations may be selected to follow a “lightning presentation” format of 20 minutes, including a 5-minute Q&A
- This will include opportunities for Student / Young Professional presentations
- Note: the four panel sessions will leverage topics / presenters from submitted abstracts
