The seventeenth propeller / shafting symposium is being planned by Panel M-16 (Propulsion Shaft Systems) of the Society’s Technical and Research Program. This symposium will address the overall propulsion transmission system of gearing, shafting, couplings, bearings, seals, and propellers. The symposium is planned for September 15-16, 2026, at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott, 235 East Main Street, Norfolk, VA, 23510 under the auspices of the Hampton Roads Section of the Society.
