September 15-16, Williamsburg, VA

  • The Twelfth Propeller/Shafting Symposium 2009, presented by SNAME, will be held in Williamsburg, VA on September 15-16.  The first symposium in 1975 was initiated as a result of propeller failures being experienced at the time.  Since then, the symposiums have expanded to address all aspects of propeller design, manufacturing, performance, testing and maintenance.  Papers relating to propulsion shafting system and associated components have also been added.
