Additive Manufacturing and Its Role in Modern Boat Production - HYBRID EVENT

When:  Jun 11, 2026 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (EET)

Time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM EEST (UTC+3)

Presented by the SNAME Turkey Community | Webinar | Additive Manufacturing and Its Role in Modern Boat Production

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Additive manufacturing is steadily finding its place in the marine sector, from rapid prototypes and hull moulds to functional parts and on-site repairs. This webinar introduces the main additive manufacturing methods and looks at how they are being used in boat production today. We will explore the practical benefits these technologies can offer, including greater design freedom, reduced material waste, faster prototyping, and more flexible low-volume production, while also taking an honest look at the technical and regulatory challenges that still limit their wider adoption. Attendees will come away with a clearer understanding of where additive manufacturing currently fits into boat production and the considerations involved in applying it.
