As the industry faces increasing demands for innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, there is a growing need for a highly skilled, diverse and adaptable workforce to meet the challenges ahead.
Mari-Tech 2026 will explore how the marine engineering community is building the next generation of skilled professionals, advancing technical training, and adopting emerging technologies to support a more resilient and future-ready industry. From simulation and AI to workforce planning and hands-on experience, the conference will bring together marine engineers, educators, regulators, shipyards, and vessel operators to share insights and best practices that strengthen our collective capacity.
Held annually, Mari-Tech 2026 is hosted by the CIMarE Vancouver Island Branch, with support from the SNAME Canadian Pacific Section and Association of British Columbia Marine Industries. The event will take place in beautiful Victoria, BC.
