Edward N. Comstock was elected by unanimous vote to serve as the next SNAME President Friday, October 23, at the 2009 SNAME Annual Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island. Mr. Comstock’s term as SNAME President will begin January 1, 2011 and conclude December 31, 2012. Mr. Comstock’s name was put forward by the SNAME Nominating Committee in May. “I am honored and humbled to stand before you as President-Elect of SNAME,” Mr. Comstock said following his election. “I have been blessed with a challenging and rewarding career, and serving as the future President of SNAME will be an achievement that I could not have imagined as a young professional. More importantly, it will allow me the opportunity to give back to the profession that has given me so much.”
