Cosmin Bozenovici, P.E. and Rene Powell, P.E.Cosmin Bozenovici
is a naval architect and marine engineer with a 16-year career in the offshore and maritime industries. Cosmin’s previous and current associations include VP at International Registries Inc./The Marshall Islands Registry, where he headed the traditional energy and renewables energy business lines. He also served as the Naval Architect for Noble Corporation, supporting a fleet of more than 40 offshore drilling units. Prior to that, Cosmin spent significant time at Friede & Goldman Ltd., American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and Tidewater in engineering and surveying roles.
Cosmin earned an MBA from Temple University and a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of New Orleans. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.Rene Powell
is a naval architect with 15 years of experience in the maritime and energy industries. Previous and current associations include Principal Naval Architect at McDermott International, where he provided project execution leadership for transportation and installation of onshore and offshore energy assets. Before joining McDermott, Rene was a Senior Naval Architect at Herbert Engineering Corp, working on commercial vessel modifications and supporting the fabrication/installation of equipment for various types of vessels. Before that, Rene spent significant time at Emas Chiyoda Subsea and Vard Marine in ship design and marine operations roles.
Rene earned an MBA from Rice University, MS in Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a BS in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the University of New Orleans. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
