Do you want to test your knowledge of naval architecture?
Participate in the Deadweight Contest organized by SNAME-UPM Student Section. You will build a boat with recycled materials to carry the maximum deadweight. The top three finishers will receive one year of SNAME membership and the winning team will be awarded a trophy.
The principal constraints are:
- Length overall ≤ 30 cm
- Length to breadth ≥ 3
- Midship coefficient ≤ 0,95
- Waterplane coefficient ≤ 0,85
- Block coefficient ≤ 0,85
- Bow angle ≤ 60°
- Lightweight ≤ 150g
