Welcome to SNAME Canadian Atlantic Section (CAS). This section serves Atlantic Canada provinces; i.e Martimes provinces (Nova Scotia, New brunswick and Prince Edward Island) and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Most of the section events are hybrid, provides the option of either attending in-person or virtually in order to be able to serve the whole region.
Although SNAME stands for "Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers", the focus of the section is for all topics related maritime industry , including but not limited to Ship design, Naval Architecture, Ship Shipbuilding and repair, academia, goverment, Oil and Gas, Electrification, mechanical & marine engineering, renewable energy, Environmental engineering, software industry, etc
