Join SNAME and get involved with SNAME T&R Panel SC-3 on Fishing Systems which has a range of interests, including environmental impact from fishing operations. These members have created and updated a data base on fish boats, analyzed diesel engine exhaust emissions, and worked on alternative LNG and biodiesel fuel use. One current area of interest is exploring the use of wind assist systems to reduce fuel and emission levels per kg of catch. Join us to contribute, learn, and make industry connections.
