Our members have told us that access to learning through leadership positions is one of the most valuable features of their SNAME membership. Earlier this month, over 100 of our volunteer leaders met in Alexandria, VA at SNAME's Council Retreat. The group ranged from Student Members, to Young Professionals, to industry titans, and covered all seven Faces of SNAME. Sessions included how to run a local Section, strategies for membership, technical content, events, and our role in the industry. The Council Retreat is proof positive that joining SNAME is a gateway to becoming a leader - within SNAME and in the industry.
