  • Human Factors in the Maritime Industry - IN-PERSON EVENT

    Mar 24, 05:30 PM - 08:00 PM (NT)
EVENT DESCRIPTION We are delighted to welcome Dr. Steven Mallam back as our guest speaker for another engaging session on human factors in the maritime industry. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 24th, 2026—this is a talk you won’t want to miss. Dr. Mallam last joined us in April 2024, delivering an exceptional presentation on Why User Centered Design Matters for Maritime Equipment and Structures. The discussion was so compelling that attendees stayed long after the session ended, eager to continue the conversation. It remains one of our most successful events to date. Since then, in his role as HFC Canada Lead, Dr. Mallam has organized six free conferences in Newfoundland and Labrador, each exploring diverse and timely human factors topics—including their most recent event on Marine Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS). We look forward to another insightful and engaging session.
