If you are interested or know of someone who is, the Canadian Pacific Section is looking to fill two (2) spots on our executive team. Please fill out the nomination form at the link below.
SNAME Canadian Pacific Section Call for Nominations
The deadline for nominations is April 3, 2026.
Elections will be held in later this Month.
The following positions are up for election:
- Meetings Chair - responsible for arranging suitable papers, with assistance as required from the Executive Committee, for presentation at meetings of the Section. The Meetings Chair shall be responsible for making all arrangements related to the Section meetings, including issuing meeting notices. Arrangements for meetings with other technical societies shall be under the joint cognizance of the Executive Committee.
- Media Chair - oversee all publicity relating to the activities of the Section.
To be eligible to hold an executive position, every person must be a full SNAME member in good standing.
The term for each position is 2 years; July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028
SNAME follows a fiscal year of July 1 to Jun 30 the following year.
