    Dear SNAME Canadian Pacific Section members and friends, 

    Going off the success of last year’s Green Fleets Symposium, this year’s topic will be Intelligent Ships of Tomorrow: Innovation in Ship Design, Digitalization, and Data reflecting the convergence of traditional naval architecture with cutting-edge digital transformation. It will be back at the Italian Cultural Center on February 21st, 2026.

    The Section invites presentation submissions for the upcoming technical joint meeting, sharing how technology and innovation are shaping the next generation of vessels.

    Topics include but (not limited):

    ·         AI and Machine Learning in ship systems

    ·         Digital Twins for operations and predictive modeling

    ·         Cybersecurity for smart and connected vessels

    ·         Data-driven decision-making and performance optimization

    ·         Innovative ship and system design (hull, machinery, hybrid/alternative fuels)

    ·         Case studies from fleet renewal and defense programs in Canada and abroad

    ·         Future propulsion and engine technologies

    ·         Integration of human factors and automation in ship operations

    The joint meeting will showcase four presentations on practical solutions, forward-looking research, and industry case studies, sparking collaboration and advancing marine innovation.
