    EVENT DESCRIPTION

    Victoria Shipyards is pleased to invite the SNAME membership to our Technical Office for a discussion on the work package for the 2026 Dry-dock & Refit of the M/V Norwegian Jade at the Esquimalt Graving Dock.


    Following the discussion, we will lead a guided tour around the dockside and dock bottom to observe the ongoing work firsthand.

    What to Expect:
    • Overview of the technical work package
    • Discussion with the technical team
    • Guided dockside and dock bottom tour
    • Opportunity for questions and professional exchange

    NOTES

    - Please arrive promptly at 9:30 AM (For Vancouver guests: Recommended to take first sailing to ensure on-time arrival).

    -Meeting Location: VSL Technical Office (see full address and contact info below) – will provide a map with directions near the date
    -Parking Location: Lot B or Lot C – will provide a map with the confirmed location near the date
    -PPE Requirements: steel-toe safety boots/shoes (must be worn before entering the yard)
    -Upon arrival at our office, we can provide visitor hard hats, safety vests, and safety glasses (regular type or OTG-style for people wearing Rx glasses)
