Q: Are we allowed to have a hinged sheet of metal to increase payload capacity?
A: Hinges are not provided in the construction material. All golf balls must sit on the bottom plate(s) of the boat.
Q: Can we have a boat whose trim is not equal to zero?
A: A boat may be trimmed as long as the minimum freeboard requirement is met along the boat's entire length. The propulsion motor in this competition will not support planing of a boat's hull.
