Superior Patriot Designs
Students: Cole Picou, David Parker, Jansen Pellegrin
Superior Patriot Designs (SPD) presents the SPD Infiltrator, a high-speed planning vessel using a seamlessly integrated forward monohull to aft catamaran design which helps to optimize the Safety and Rescue, Homeland Security, and Law Enforcement capabilities of the United States Coast Guard.
Louisiana Design Firm
Students: Alexander Lulich, David Dempsey, Kyle Falbo, Michelle Denova
Coastal Patrol & Response 90 (“CPR-90”) is an emergency response catamaran developed by Louisiana Design Firm to serve the Port of Plaquemines Port Harbor and Terminal District’s growing industrial market. As an ABS A1 FFV1 classed vessel, CPR-90 will be capable of delivering modern fire-fighting technology and search and rescue capability into a proven safe and efficient solution.
Core Composite Engineering
Students: Austin Threlkeld, Katie Spetter, Tamera Lepore, Wilfredo Vega
Core Composite Engineering is designing a 95ft vessel capable of breaking the transatlantic record set in 1992, with a time of 58 hours, 34 minutes, and 50 seconds. To achieve this goal, our vessel, named “Project “Y”, will be a planning, high-speed, composite monohull.
