Welcome to the micro-site for the SNAME SD-10 Hull Form Design Panel! The
goals/objectives of the SD-10 Panel are as follow:
- To develop and maintain a centralized repository of hull-form design resources, including relevant publications, white papers, best practices, and lessons learned.
- To collect and maintain a database of digitized hull-form models.
- To create, publish, and routinely update a series of recommended standards for modern hull-form design.
- To serve as a diverse, open, and inclusive panel to effectively ensure that historic hull-form design lessons are collected and shared across the greater naval architecture community.
The SD-10 Panel represents the true diversity of the greater naval architecture community. Current panel members include representatives from both the civilian/commercial sector and the federal/government sector.
If you have any questions/comments as you navigate the SD-10 Panel micro-site, please contact the current
Panel Chair. Thank you very much for your positive contributions to SNAME and the greater maritime community!
