Join us on June 29nd, 2023, to pave the way for a more efficient and technologically advanced maritime industry.SPEAKERS/PRESENTERSPresenters will be distinguished industry experts, namely:Stefanos ChartomatzidisStefanos has over 15 years of experience in different senior positions being in charge of Innovative Solutions capturing, architecting and managing, having led and accomplished a number of multidisciplinary R&D and highly engineering projects in Europe and Middle. Currently, he is the Chief Commercial Officer for LAROS by Prisma Electronics S.A. technology.

Stefanos is a Computer Science graduate/engineer (Newcastle) with postgraduate studies in Engineering Business Management (Warwick), currently completing his 2nd Masters in Marine Science and Technology Management (HNA/Pireaus). He is trained in project management by PMI (PMP) accredited with many certifications including Innovation Management, Total Quality Management, New Product and Business Development and more.Nikos BekiarisNikos is currently working at Prisma Electronics S.A. as manager of the Performance and Data Analytics department.

He is a graduate from the Hellenic Naval Academy with postgraduate studies in M.I.T. where he obtained the Master of Science in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, and the Engineer’s degree in Naval Engineer. After 8 years of service in the Hellenic Navy as an engineer officer in different types of naval vessels as well as 10 years in Navy’s Technical Base and Navy’s newbuilding program in Elefsis shipyard, on 2013 he resigned with the rank of Commander. After his resignation he worked in different shipping companies as Superintendent Engineer and Performance Engineer.Dr Christos SpandonidisChristos is the Head of Research and Development Activities for the past 7 years. Christos is a graduate from the Hellenic AirForce Academy as Electronic Engineer. He has an MSc in Microsystems and Nanostructures and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling for Modern technology and Economics. He has a Phd in Marine Engineering from NTUA. He has working experience as Telecom Electronics Commander and Evaluator for NATO, Lead Field Service Engineering and Aircraft Accident Investigator for the HAF and 5 years in Offshore Oil & Gas Exploration regarding Seismic-Activities in Baltic.Dimitris ParaskevopoulosDimitris is a Computer Engineer with Msc in Mechanical an Aeronautics Engineering studies in UoP currently employed as AI Engineer in Prisma Electronics focusing in the development of deep neural network algorithms and reinforcement learning methods for decision making (planning and learning) as well as integration of AI algorithms in real time software solutions. ​About Prisma ElectronicsPrisma Electronics is a 30-year-old hi-tech company renowned for its innovative solutions in the maritime industry.
