A Presentation from Don MacPherson, HydroComp, Inc.
On February 18th SNAME New England held its
February dinner meeting at the Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center
in Portsmouth, NH. 27 people were in attendance. The topic of the meeting was
"Bulbous Bow Retrofit of R/V LAKE EXPLORER II", a paper written about work done
by HydroComp, Inc. Don MacPherson, the technical director at HydroComp and a
SNAME Fellow, gave the talk. Don is also our T&R rep, and began the meeting
with a quick overview of the T&R activities ongoing at SNAME. There was a
lively discussion about bulbous bows and the analysis methodology presented in
the paper afterwards
