The Military Sealift Command came to present and talk to us about the organization and give us a rundown of what they do and the career opportunities for Naval Architects.

Kayaking - September 2015

THOR Solutions- September 2015

THOR Solutions discussed structural enhancement on the National Security Cutter for the Coast Guard and other design challenges.

USS Detroit LCS-7 Launch at Marinette Marine - 2014

In 2014, Quarterdeck was invited to tour Marinette Marine in Wisconsin and watch the launching of the USS Detroit LCS-7. They drove to Wisconsin, were given a tour of the yard, and watched a ship launching.

Sikuliaq Launch at Marinette Marine - 2012

In 2012, Quarterdeck was invited to the launch of the research vessel Sikuliaq at Marinette Marine in Wisconsin. In addition, they rode across Lake Michigan in the last coal-operated ship on the Great Lakes.
