Quarterdeck Points

In order to keep track of member involvement, a points system was implemented. These points help determine who gets to attend different SNAME trips, such as the annual SNAME Maritime Convention, Great Lakes/Great Rivers Section Meetings, and different shipyard and yacht show trips.

Students can check the number of points they have in the email announcements.

The point system works as follows:

+1 point for each social event/committee meeting/company session attended
+1 volunteer point for every 2 hours of community service
