Volunteering

Each semester, Quarterdeck works on several different volunteering and community outreach projects to give back and to also teach others about NAME. Each year, we volunteer at the SeaPearch competition, and in the past, we used to also run an annual program as part of the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP) to explore NAME principles through engaging projects with high school students. Some other past events include engagement with the wider College of Engineering through Tech Day, as well as philanthropy such as the Fundrager.
