The Young Professionals program (YP) exists to facilitate the transition from SNAME student member to associate member. It allows additional opportunities for "young" professionals to meet and network outside of the formal setting of meetings and presentations and relate to those in a similar career stage. The young professional can also be benefited by the various existing "Young Professional Scholarships". Last but not least, via the YP program,student members can have a clear view of what the real industry looks like and gain valuable experience for the career.
