SNAME T&R Call For Students

The SNAME T&R Ad Hoc Panel AHP-22, Capsize Egress andSurvivability, wants YOUR help! We're looking for innovative students to join us in discussing and designing new ideas for successful egress in a capsizing ship. Imagine being inside a capsizing ship - the walls were not designed for walking on, andgetting to the high end of the ship during an emergency would pose significant challenge. How can ships be designed to make this easier? Students who help create innovative ideas to overcome this challenge will have the opportunity to present their work at SMC 2019!

Contact: Rick Ashcroft, T&R Committee Chair at rick1000@cox.net, or at +1 (760) 519-7829.

If you're interested in other ways to get involved with SNAME T&R, also contact Rick Ashcroft.
