The Annual General Meeting for the University of Strathclyde SNAME
Student Section was held on the 27th of April 2016 at 2pm in the Henry Dyer
Building.
Michail, chairman of 2015-2016, opened the AGM with a short
presentation describing what UoS SNAME Student Section is and what the
committee of 2015-2016 had been involved in and events they had held.
Certificates were then awarded to the committee of 2015-2016 for all their hard
work and devotion to UoS SNAME Student Section.
Michail then began proceedings for the election of the new
committee for the academic year 2016-2017. Each candidate running for each
position presented a short 5-10 minute presentation about themselves and why
they would be the ideal candidate for their given position. After all the
candidates had finished their presentations, voting took place with everyone
who was there and the results were announced as follows:

Faculty Advisor: Dr. Iraklis Lazakis

positions and a big thank you to everyone who came to the AGM and helped elect
