The SNAME Strathclyde Student section announces this year's Cardboard Race, which was done on 17-Sept-2015.
The participants were split into 3 groups and, along with a supervisor, were tasked to design a cardboard boat. The process involved creativity, knowledge, teamwork and most importantly fun!
The speed, caring capabilities and damage stability of every design were tested. The best model won its designers free memberships with SNAME, however, the great deal of joy and learning outcomes made every participant a winner.
The Committee would like to congratulate everyone for their attendance and contribution to the making of this event a tradition!
