Cardboard Boat Race 2016

Strathclyde SNAME Section hosted it's annual cardboard boat race on the 16th of September 2016.

The Cardboard Boat Race is a fun event that students were separated into 3 groups and were asked to design a cardboard boat using some simple tools like cardboard, plastic bags, air fins and duct tape. This introductory event for freshers and existing members involves creativity, knowledge, teamwork and fun!!

Each team raced their boats under several circumstances; loaded, unloaded and damaged. And a winning team was announced. However everyone attending had a great deal of fun!

The committee would like to congratulate everyone for their attendance and participating!!
